KVØL is a collection of short stories selected from the short story competition held by the municipality of Runavík during Culture Week in 2021.

The common thread in these stories is the dark side of life. The side that we don’t speak much of. Anxiety, psychological violence, horror, depression, lack of self-worth, and other things that people struggle with.

60 stories were entered into the competition and KVØL serves as proof that this country contains many budding authors.
