Emotions, sex, the cycle of the moon, the endless repetition – pure and dirty. Blood and ovulation and judgemental moral voices outside of the body, and women and restraints and fledged children and a bit of air that puts the restraints into perspective – women with shared fates flock together, and then all that feels heavy, exhausting, and claustrophobic comes to a sudden end on a sunny Spring day with newly washed pillowcases waving in the gentle breeze.
