Fyri tí tú veitst er rætt
Tórbjørn Jacobsen has been a well-known public figure for nearly half a century. Already as a teenager, he wrote his first letter to the editor. Since then, many articles and countless speeches have been written, especially after he became politically active over a quarter of a century ago.
This collection is a selection of his writings throughout the years. It consists of speeches for various occasions, political articles and speeches, addresses, essays, commentaries, reviews, and obituaries. Ann Ellefsen has edited the material.
Part of the selection has previously been published, while the rest consists of speeches and texts originally written for special occasions that are now available to readers beyond the small audience who first heard them.
