The Little Horse is an exciting and contemporary novel about the five final days in the life of Snorri Sturlusson. He is waiting for Margreta, his great love, who is a challenge in all aspects of his life. He is burdened by a worry for his son who he fears will take revenge on him. The poet tries to write a story about his own life where he is planning to object to his opponents in Norway and Iceland. He begins to defend himself against the rumours that he lusts for power and is a deceitful womaniser.

About Snorri Sturlusson:
On 22 September in 1241 the chieftain Snorri Sturlosson was killed on his own farm Reykholt, where he lived during the final years of his life. Also in his own time he was recognized as a great poet and historian but also as someone leaning towards women, and one who had political power and a good fortune.
