The 22-year old protagonist should probably be satisfied with her job, her flat and her friend. She even has a lovely appearance – from the outside. On the inside her life is a mess and progresses as a feature film of turmoil, filled with dreams, intense longings and secret, terrifying imaginings in which she would rather not see her own reflection.
