Árnafjørður - Staðarnøvn (paperbook)
Something that has fascinated our generation are the many toponyms, our forefathers used to describe specific places everywhere from the infields to the outfields, as well as along the shoreline.
To be able to pinpoint the various places colloquially was essential, when describing where a sheep was seen last or where it was lying, as well as for communicating other issues.
Back in the day, it was also more relevant for the Faroese to know these places, than it is today.
