flooding from displays of struggle and exertion,
from resentment gone and laughter hidden
our dreams:
Words from rounded palms
across unwritten sheets,
tunes from the innermost silence,
glimpses of colour beneath bright sights,
the flight of the wind
like shadows on a light sandy ocean floor,
like showers traversing the sea,
streaming in between seaweeds
of soft skin,
quietly like wings in the night
out towards dim horizons,
drifting,
wondering from the day
our dreams.
